on the strand today the sky was so beautiful, you couldn't move for people taking photos. walking over waterloo bridge, i stopped several times to allow people to capture the scene on their cameraphones unobscured by yours truly. i wish i'd had a camera, but still. good colours to memorise.
it's been an interesting week. highlights included a ridiculously overindulgent weekend of KEIK with fraston - failing to find waffles, we bought pancakes and ate them with fresh strawberries and maple syrup. DIVINE! also lived off take-out pizza for days. horrifically lacking in nutrition, but riding high in the deliciousness stakes! have also developed an unhealthy familiarity with Ed's Diner at leicester square and their incredible maltshakes.
food has featured heavily in recent fun.
in other news, i have also found employment thanks to the aforementioned SG member. JOY! no more confusion over whether or not i'm a hooker - i'm not! i'm a FLATTER!! ahem.
it's my birthday tomorrow. to celebrate, m'housemate simon is organising a party on saturday for me. it's 1940s Paris themed [think noir] and if you're gonna be around camberwell on the 21st then i'd like you to be there! drop me a mail if you're up for coming! i'd love to see you all.
