It's been a long time: I don't really like keeping a journal, but it seems only fair to try and say something, seeing as I do look at other peoples'...
...just got through Xmas and Boxing Day without mishap, the highlights being:
Got given a nice Fossil watch, a bit like this one:
although the backlight doesn't seem to work (or maybe there isn't one? ) plus a book full of really cool photos of the UK shoreline.
Had lunch at my brother's over in Cookham Dean then watched the new Dr Who and "The Importance of Being Ernest" in the evening, with Colin Firth and Rupert Evert et al being really silly.
Boxing Day: slept in all day, had a roast lamb supper and watched "Minority Report" on TV.
The best thing about Xmas is that it is fairly sleepy and quiet as the whole country kind of grinds to a halt.
Going up to London tomorrow to see my other brother...
Will try and do a better journal all about "my life" next time, but like I said I don't really like anything serious or introspective like that.
