crazy weekend of football. i can't root for the steelers, patriots and many other teams for various reasons. here's why i can root for these teams :
new york jets - i love rex ryan's attitutde, want to see ladanian tomlinson get a ring.
chicago bears - brian urlacher is the best nfl player ever from the university of new mexico, my alma mater.
green bay packers - i never tire of watching aaron rodgers play ball, and simultaneously pointing out to everyone his startling resemblance to ellen degeneres.
okay. maybe that last one is just me.

I really hate people shitting on Rex for being Rex. He's loud and a braggart, but who doesn't want a coach that thinks he's coaching the greatest team every and is going to win every game? Don't get me wrong, I bleed Green & White, but I almost always bet against them. As a long time Jets fan, I expect disappointment. The Pack was smart to grow tired of Favre's "I'm thinking about retiring" nonsense and sticking with Rogers. Kid is damn good. I expect they'll represent the NFC in the Superbowl.
