Sad sad news, I recently found out that my little Mini Scnauzer "Schautzi" is not doing well and she will be put down this week if it hasn't already happened. I had that sweet little girl for 10 years and unfortunatly she ended up a casualty of my divorce. I havn't seen her in over 2 years and I miss her terribly. I knew I would never see her again, but it just kinda hit me like a mac truck when my ex-wife (who I don't wanna talk to on the best of days) contacted me and told me she had to be put down to end her suffering. About 5 years ago she got into the princess' (the ex) purse and ate about 1200 ml of ibuprofen destrying all but 25% of her kidneys. It is surprising that she lived this long considering the poor thing only weighed 25 pounds. Late last week she got realy sick and her kidneys completely failed and her liver started to fail also, she was suffering so I told the princess to make her as comfortable as possible and stop her pain. I love that little girl so much. And she was truely my little girl. No matter where I went in the house she was always at my heals, or in my lap stairing into my eyes. This is hard for me, I knew I would cry for her but I'm trying to focus more on the good times I had with her. Thank you for being there for me Gyllien, just knowing that you are there for me and feeling our hearts connected helped me through this more than you could know. I love you so dearly!
Here are a few of me and my little Schautzi, RIP my Little Girl.
