Well my class has started and it is going well. I am doing well in the class so far which is good, I believe I am getting a B. I want to work harder and raise that to an A soon. As far as the class itself, I find it very interesting. The teacher is pretty cool and the people in the class are ok. Some of them are fucking morons and others just annoy the piss out of me. One of the older students, Tom I think is is his name, is a veteran and all around nice guy to talk to. I respect him a lot and he reminds me of the person I would like to be.
In other news I fell off my diet because I gained 12 pounds somehow. I suspect it is mostly water weight and that it will dissapear as I am back on the diet. I have been getting a lot of soduim so that maybe the reason I am retaining water. I felt bad for getting off the diet but I got right back on the next day. I do believe I can do it and I want to do it sooner. I have decided that I would give up pop (I was drinking diet) for a little while and stick with the original low carb diet drink, water. I am also going to the Coffeehouse and eating a salad everyday for lunch. I have to remember to bring my own salad dressing as I like their vinegarette and oil but I am not sure what kind of vinegarette it is. Either way I have a few other choices of dressings. Dinner is ususally a steak pan fried in coconut oil, and I want to start adding broccoli that has been boiled in saltwater and garnished with seasoned butter. I will tell you that the broccoli cleans out the system quick! I have not been as regular as I used to be. For dessert I am going to start whipping my own cream and using splenda instead of sugar. It tastes really good.
In other news I spent a few hundred dollars on repaying my creditors. I paid off my creditcard debts today and I will start working on others. My credit score is 530 and I would like to raise it soon. I figure as long as I keep paying my debts off it will rise. I also want to get a credit card to start building credit. I figure I could start paying a monthly bill with it and just keep paying it off. I will shred the card and have them just auto bill it. I wish I had not screwed up my credit and did not act like an ass when I was younger. It really sucks not having the ability to get the things you want because people dont trust you with money.
I keep doing this because more and more I want to join a police department. I really am hoping to join Chicago PD as they are something special to me. I guess I should say Chicago is something special to me. I lived in the suburbs my entire life and I would travel into the city for fun and just for adventure. The city of Chicago truly is an amazing place. I love going downtown and walking along the lake front. Or just going to the museums when I was younger. I have so many positive memories of the city that I realized that for all the talk about Las Vegas, Miami, Seattle, New York, or other towns that Chicago is my home. All my friends are here and at times I hate them I realize that I love them. As I look through the people on my myspace profile I see Joey and his Southside Irish attitude as well as values. Sonny, Eric, Slav, Brad, and all them guys are the same. We are Chicago and Chicago is us. Our stupid attitudes and our values are what unite us. I realize that I dont want to leave these guys and I dont want to leave this city.
My next goal is to start hitting the gym. I intend to get up this morning and go. I have to. I keep putting it off and I keep feeling guilty about it. The thing that really sucks is I need to get my IPOD repaired and I want to get some new running shoes. My goal is to essentially prepare for the Illinois State POWER test. Its a Police Officers Wellness Evaluation Report. I believe it is a 1.5 mile run, bench press, sit and reach, and situps. Here is a good article on it:

Once I have that down I will just keep repeating it until I get better. I also want to gain muscle mass and start building up my body. I would like to build up my upper body especially and I really want to strengthen my calves so that I can run easier. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
All in all now my life just consists of going to work, class, and just hanging around my apartment. I do have an interview with the 24 hr McDonalds next week for an overnight position. Their drive through is open 24/7 and I would not mind working nights if the money is good enough. I intend to work in the dorms overnight at the desk if at all possible. That would be a sweet job in my opinion.

I think with Die Hard I'm really just amped on the destruction and/or explosions. Plus, I think Justin Long is pretty dreamy, lol. I hope Michael Bay doesn't ruin Transformers for me... I'm trying to keep my expectations low, but its hard to do. I didn't list the Simpson's Movie as one of my must-see summer flicks... I can't imagine it being anything more than what the show is now - funny, but not 2 hour funny.
I heart ABBA. Nuff said.
The cat was put to sleep yesterday She didn't go peacefully, it was horrible. When my brother and I put our dog to sleep a year and a half ago, she went so nicely. All drowsy. My cat yowled and spat and scratched until she was gone.
