So I am currently watching "Wolf Creek" right now. It is decent so far and I think the chick is hot. I believe the actress who plays her name is Cassandra Magrath. The film is essentially another version of "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" in Australia. I find it somewhat predictable but I guess it is somewhat entertaining. I will watch "Wasabe" with Jean Reno next. I think it is a more entertaining movie. I have already seen it but I remember enjoying the cheesy action in it.
The "Wolf Creek" movie just got a little more gruesome after he severed her spine. She is still alive? I dont buy it. Somehow I think the quality of horror movies is declining. Perhaps that it is me getting a little bit older. I did like when the villain sniped the guy. That was pretty good. It seemed like he was somewhat closer than he let on with the view from the scope. So far the movie seems to be getting a litte bit better. (I am watching it as I type). One thing I have noticed is that every character escapes so far. And the guy is the only one who lives? I think the movie was pretty crappy myself. I wish that Blockbuster would give me my money back as I feel I was ripped off.
All that I have to say is if the movie was filmed on location I will have to admit that Australia is a beautiful country. I mean the views in the film are spectacular. It reminds me of the Southwest a lot. It looks like it could have been filmed in Arizona. I have been thinking of Arizona and about trying to go school there. I think back about promises that were made and broken involving me and Jenny going to that school. But that is the past and it really has not been bothering me lately.
I found out that Drexel messed up with my application. They thought that I was going to enroll there for the fall. Classes started today so I would not have been able to attend anyway. Though it would have been nice to been in school. I am worried about moving there still and want to go there to see the school. I am still going to apply to UIC as well and really need to get on this. It is almost to late to apply and I should get on that now.
I was reading that they are making a movie about Magneto. It has only been anounced. But nonetheless I am excited as I enjoy Ian McKellans portrayal of my favorite supervillian. But I am conflicted since I dislike all of the franchise hoopla that will be made out of it. When I was younger comic books and other nerdy shit was not cool. And suddenly it is hip and trendy? It kind of pisses me off as I am not as unique as I once was.
I am hoping that I will get a decent chunk of change from the school towards my financial aid. Otherwise I will be forced to stay here in Chicago and I really dont want to do that. It would be nice to get the hell out of here for once.
As for today I consider it a semi pointless and wasted day. I got nothing acomplished and did not even go out and look for a job. Its starting to feel a little more hopeless everyday but then it always seems that way. I am tired now so I am out.
Good night.
