It is springtime in Burkina Faso, and that means that the females of the species are shedding their layers.
Whereas just weeks ago, the females and males were parading themselves around in their winter coats (although I use the word "parading" loosely, as I was the only one braving the outdoors for a walk, Burkina Faso was murder a couple of weeks ago) and hats and gloves. The females of the species have since shortened their pants, thinned out their shirts, rid themselves of harsh fabrics like wools and courderoys, and have made themselves objets de desir once again.
Whereas the men in Burkina Faso? They can be found wearing the ubiquitous white hat and plaid shirt.
Yuck.

Also: The admittance into SG:NHS has completely made my day. Sad as that may seem, I have been walking on air all day.
Validated, I am.

Also: Dahmer said that "girls find [undone] intimidating." Which completely throws me for a loop. Can't girls see that I am an insecure pile of bones and sinew? That I don't know what I am doing half the time? That when I don't know enough about a subject, rather than sitting there and agreeing, or trying to steer the conversation back to something I know about - I just shut the hell up and wait patiently for the conversation to turn back to something I with which I am familiar?
I suppose that High School and Junior High (and College, to some degree [that's University for you Canadians]) have given me enough of a thick skin that my temperment has become more that of a dinosaur rather than a ring-tailed lemur.
