oh dear the snow the snow!
it's coming down in droves, and oh boy oh boy. now that i am home i am happy about it, having made the decision to wait out rush hour at the office and get some extra work done.
so the girlboss and i sat and played games and we both did some work and we had a party in the loft just the internet folks, and we laughed and told stories, and it was the most fun i've had at work in ages and ages.
and now i am home, and i am full of butter and honey sandwiches, and i bought some coca cola when the boyfriend and i stopped for smokes. and i only slid once on the way home, and the boyfriend drove like a pro the rest of the way.
when it snows like this, the salt trucks, they forget the streets and just concentrate on the highways which were, this evening, exercises in impatience.
yet another reason why i don't take the highway home.

ever try cross-country skiing? that's a great workout even better than running. i just started doing that regularly this winter 'cause i have a one year old german shepard that needs a lot of excercise too. it really is a lot of fun, gets you out in the clean air and you see the world in winter time, which i think is a whole seperate beauty. highly recommended

as long as there is snow and you don't even need hills, in fact it's harder starting out with a lot of hills
