so, i am thinking classes might be the best thing for me to get out of the rut i've been digging myself into.
do you know how hard it is to tell people closest to you that you feel in a rut because everything is going so well? it's hard to get sympathy in that sort of case.
so, this afternoon on my day off, i will be checking websites of the big university here in town, and the smaller art college. classes, most likely, won't be enrolling again until april ... but some extra research never hurt anyone, i suppose.
well, anyone but diane fossey.
and frankenstein.
and dr. jeckyll.

i went to the doctor this morning for a routine checkup. he was worried about my complaing of heart palpitations during one of my yoga classes during the month of december. i tried to explain i hadn't had enough water; i'd had too much sugar; i'd not had enough sleep.
tests were to be done. blood drawn, an ekg done (which i got to look at and ask questions about), an electrocardiogram scheduled for next monday. i have to wear a holter monitor sometime in the near future.
i know i'm healthy.
well, i had no qualms about it, until he mentioned he heard a "click" he hadn't heard the last time i'd been in his office.
but everything will be just fine.
i hope so anyway.
i am sick of doctors.

I understand about telling the people closest to you about a rut. Sometimes they are most afraid of change b/c they think it means them! Ah our silly egos,
What type of yoga do you do?
