last night, i nearly died.

a wound on the left side of the chest, but i took someone else out as i fell, unconscious, the final muscle twitch causing my finger to pull the trigger, the gun to which it belonged being pointed at an adversary's head.

watch out, you try to kill me, and i take one of you with me.

i was avenged, and later healed by a sentient jedi rodent.
and that's just fine with me.
