Finals are over...fuck yes. I can return to normal breathing patterns now. I noticed how calm and relaxed I was when driving home from St. Peters, how my neck wasn't so bunched up and tense...how much better I felt. I didn't sleep well last night...but there were other things going on (besides worrying about finals) that kept me up. Don't feel like getting into that now.
Uugh...I hope they don't make me work until 12:30am tonight again...I'm not even scheduled to work that late but if that one chick bails out again I'm reporting her ass. She's done it too many times and my patience is wearing thin. I get so sick of her whining. Yes, babe, most of us are college students and we know exactly how you feel...we're all in the same boat as you, so we do understand. Believe it or not, you're not the only employee here who is miserable, so stop complaining! Wear a smile so the customers stop bitching that you have an "attitude problem." Thanks. Yeah...I am an incredibly patient person. You can put me through a lot of shit and I'll just smile and say "Oh...no problem. I can wait" or whatever, I won't even flinch. But when it happens too many times, then I am not forgiving. We all make mistakes, yes. We all have bad days. When there's some pattern there...it's not a mistake or bad day. That's just you, being lazy. It's a job. Just grin and bare it, ok? We're all human. It's the holidays.
I'm trying to figure out a way to maybe get my paycheck early or have my dad deposit it in the bank, because payday is the day after I arrive in Boston...bah. And it's supposed to be a big one, too.
I feel like asking some horribly random questions. Answer in the comments, pwease?
1. Who do you want to be with most now?
2. Is there "no place like home for the holidays"?
3. What is the number one gift you want under the tree?
4. Name a holiday song you like. If any.
