I'm not entirely positive what douche might have wrongly informed you that the world is your playground, and that shoppers etiquette is a myth. I can assure you that it does, in fact, exist.
What exactly does shoppers etiquette mean?
I'm glad you asked, I'd be happy to share that information with you.
It means that you are no longer at the age of five, leaving your unwanted items or merchandise strewn throughout a store is not acceptable. It also means that I am not your mother, it shouldn't be my responsibility to play find the hidden objects as I walk up and down the store isles making sure everything is neat, tidy, and easily accessible for the next shopper to come strolling through the store.
Am I complaining about my job? Do I get paid to clean up after you?
No.
I get paid to make sure you have a safe, fast, and friendly shopping experience by keeping objects and garbage off of the floor, items stocked, and merchandise pulled to the front of the shelf so that you, dear shopper, are able to exist the building feeling you've accomplished another of your daily tasks with ease.
Thank you for your attention, and have a wonderful morning, afternoon, evening, or night. :)
