I'm seriously considering buying a hat like Tom Waits. I think I could pull it off.
That music class...I love it, but man, there's a weird demographic. I can't fathom the fact that half the class --which is twenty or so people-- had never heard Frank Sinatra. That just makes my head hurt. Never hearing the Righteous Brothers is a little more understandable, I guess, but still, everyone has heard "You've Lost That Loving Feeling." It's fucking strange for me to think otherwise.
Acting reaffirmed two things: that I can still be adequate when improvising a scene (although I'm rusty as hell), and that I can still say the wrong thing at the wrong time the wrong way. It was a matter of time. Like a few of the people in the class, though. They think I'm far more serious than I am. It's actually kind of funny.
Cops came on and pulled someone off the train today. Wasn't me, thankfully; apparently I bought the wrong ticket on Monday, and did again today, but decided to buy the proper one. Still added up to be less than what I'd be expected to pay normally. But it was a little different, seeing them take the guy sitting in front of me off the train, leaving his poor girlfriend to stay on. They smelled like sardines, though, so I'm not all broken up.
Really nothing else happening. Going to the bar Friday for a bit, then off to bowl in Woodland.
How's everyone else doing?
Later.
