All is well in the kingdom, even if the king has seen better days.
Someone once said I should believe none of what I hear, & half of what I see. This is a flawed statement, I think, but totally rational. Granted, the context was very different then, but the thought is still the same. But the deaf, dumb, & blind kid sure plays mean pinball. And I think I will for a little longer.
No radio today. New equipment is being installed. I need to find a mic for the computer, just because I can do podcasts for my own amusement. Next week, by the way, is looking to be the most amazing yet ill advised bit of broadcasting I've been part of. I'll keep you posted on that.
I slept more last night than I have in the last week. As a result, I feel MUCH better than I did yesterday. Also got some food last night, which makes yesterday the day I ate more than I have in a week. I feel so...well.
I think I want to see Henry Rollins again, if I get the chance. I would find it strangely relaxing. I also would love to see Bill Hicks, however that's just too difficult at the moment.

Dude...I still can't express how fucking AMAZING this is. My two all time favorite songwriters, together, performing, seemingly enjoying themselves while maintaining their admirable prick skills...that's good stuff. I would give anything to see Townshend live, by the way. Reed, maybe, only because he strikes me as a half-asser. And since these two actually are in the same place at the same time, I have renewed hope of Townshend & Lennon in the same place. Just a picture, something to hang up somewhere.
Is there really no message in a broken heart? Are those driven cynical by love just fountains of misinformation? I would like to say, though, that I was driven cynical by things other than love. People in general makes a good short answer.
And while I'm all pontificating & philosophising, as I can be prone to do, bad things do always happen to good people. Maybe it's to make them bad people, so they know who's signing their checks. Nice guys only finish last because they politely wait until the assholes finish the race. The key is a happy medium, something I used to think I was before I became all flaccid & watered down. Edge is great, but going over it makes you what you despise. Bad things happen to good people because the good ones only know what they know, which is what they percieve as good. That's why there's hesitation when it comes to some things. Or so i think. But there is still no right answer, just luck.
I need a guitar.
N Street is it. It's likely going to be, since I've yet to hear anything, late May, possibly early June, but fuck it. I'm not going to be in the ghetto. Now, does anyone want to help me move? I can promise food.
The end.
