I just got this really bad feeling about something. Huh. Better pass.
Thanks to everyone I saw this week for hanging out. Omeganightmare, Toez, kalleigh, Lobster_Mobster, & especially catagogo (love that CD) all are amazing people & great company. Good day.
New apartment search was hobbled a day because of computer problems, but will kick off again Monday, when i can call people. I want to have a place lined up by the 24th. It's looking good, though. N Street has a lot of stuff (the T Street listing is missing in action, sadly. Must be on the other computer still).
Interpretation is a fun thing to play with. Dangerous, but fun. Like a hooker. And there is no other artistic medium i'd pay for sex from than music. I'm in the process of making many mix CDs for people, & it always is a thought when doing these things how the person recieving it will look at a given song. Like that line in "High Fidelity" about how delicate it is to use someone else's words to express yourself. I just love the idea of interpretation, because my mind naturally looks for things. Blessing or curse or something. Pain in the ass works. So yeah, music.
Brian Wilson may be a genius, by the way, but SMiLE is ass. Outside of the two songs that were released forty years ago, everything is just weird filler. But hey, dude's earned a misfire; i just wish the mags didn't blow him for this pretty bad record.
The bad feeling hasn't passed yet. Getting a little weird.
Here's where i end this because i can't think of anything else to say.

catagogo:
Thats why I always give a warning with my mixes if I dont have specific emotional intent with them.
