Couple of brief notes:
---LC hasn't changed, house hasn't changed, family has changed but in a very unnoteworthy way. I'm amazed that this area is so painfully timeless. Avoiding town like the plague if only because i know i'll run into people. Oh & it never ceases to amaze me how much you can still learn about the past.
---BIG thanks & eternal gratitude to Omeganightmare for getting me over here. I can't thank you enough. Will totally compensate with cash &/or booze. Was great hanging out as well, even if we were the sober folks.
---None of the SGSac folks can ever give me shit for getting drunk ever again. I feel vindicated, absolved of all past embarrassment. Biblical, almost. It was good to see everyone, i gotta say. Always is.
---I really don't even know how to broach the whole sit'ation that occured Friday that, even now, baffles me. I mean, come on. Should i feel insulted or something? That game is one I'd SO win, by the way. There ain't a British boy alive i'm not wittier than. But this will bother me until I get back. Thank god, i've needed something to drive me nuts like this...well something fresh. But yes, i would dearly love to have this explained.
---Ukiah has changed quite a bit. New Wallgreens (which i actually think is an eyesore, personally, but i'm just glad it pissed off the hippies), another Starbucks (Ukiah has leaped into 2000), & the sacriest place i've ever been in in Tractor Supply Company. It was terrifying. But i got to go by the old apartment complex, & got nostalgiac. For a dump it isn't terribly good.
---Oh I think i've found a place in midtown. I believe on T street, have to check again. I also found a better place in midtown, if anyone wants to be a roommate. I'm a kick ass roommate, by the way. So yeah, things are coming together.
---Ukiah should really, really turn that land where the old mill or factory or whatever it was into a major event venue. Like a 1000 seat or whatever little thing for concerts, wrestling shows, & public speaking events. I really wish i could afford to do that.
---They just played "Rainbow in the Dark" on the radio & i freaked out. This song needs more karaoke recognition, along with "Heat of the Moment" by Asia & surprisingly "Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor. I'd rock any of those.
---My mom HATES "Borat" with a passion. My dad, however, reacted almost EXACTLY like i did upon seeing it the first time. This fascinates me.
---U2's "Vertigo" still really pisses me off.
Basically done. Everyone doing well?
