What a weekend! From a balmy Dropkick Murphys frenzy, back to a cold snow shower Monday morning. Crazy! But well worth it. Now I'm off to the taxman to bare my soul to the Feds! Ugh!

Mmm.. Burlington.

Mmm... spring in Burlington: oodles of slushy spring snow packed into endless fields of soft, inviting, lactic-acid-sweet-sweet-burn-inducing-mogul-ey-goodness. And Burton factory sales.

And you're leaving town, why? ^_^
jena:

just a suggestion...new pic for your vinyljunkie group??? it might also be featured in SGtheMag.

Starsky and Hutch!
flick:
I wanna go see that one, looks like a bajillion laughs biggrin
Rented School of Rock last night, and this is only my opinion,
but I thought it kinda sucked. Yeah it did have some cute moments, but even that was not redeeming enough for me
not to bash it. Rent it at your own risk.

Ah! The Tuesday thaw out in Burlington. A balmy 50 degrees. It'll be nice for the brown snow to melt, rain a bit to clean the streets, than some fresh powder. I just saw the entire disc of "The Office" and it pretty much rocked. Seeing all the episodes together really is a laugh, hopefully the second season will be out soon. What is it...

Mondays. They come way to quick! But boy has this month flown, and being in perpetual snow and cold, when you see and feel a climate change here, it's a big surge of energy. Now if I can just make it through another month, I'll be VERY ready for a much needed warm break in Vegas!

Monday morning and cold. Hank 3 was amazing last night. He played over two and a half hours (2 1/2 sets) to a virtually sold out crowd. First was the country set (almost two hours) than about 20 minutes for the Hellbilly set, a ten minute break, than Assjack came on a rocked. I stayed for about half of that, then boogied. It was great...

Brrrrrrrrrrrrr! A really cold weekend, but I'm off to catch Hank 3 in a little bit. Should be a great show. I'm surprised he didn't do a stop in Boston, but I'm glad he did here!

Good evening all-
Working late on a few freelance projects while it's quiet here in the loft. I picked up the new Cure DVD the other day and it's fantastic. What an event to be at! I actually got my first taste of political advertising/branding/marketing. We have a client who is running for governor and I designed the idenity/logo for him. Despite somebody being liberal/grassroots/open,...

I love designing logos & such! I will most likely work a bit in a shop again on the side, to brush up on my skills. So, when I have my flow back I'd LOVE to work on a custom piece! That was my favorite thing about the shop I used to be in. I was the one in the shop all the custom designs were done by! Another artist in the shop also worked part time at another shop in the next town & would bring his cutom requests to me & pay me to do them....sad, but lotsa fun & extra money for me at the time. I'd love to go on a board trip, but looks like I might miss out on good snow this season frown due to all my $ going to equipment. I'm getting pretty much a shop set up (sterilization & everything)

It's 6:55 in the evening and I'm awaiting the big snow to come rolling thru. Burlington is a snow magnet. The mountains are amazing (as is the boarding) and the snow is right out of a holiday special.
lucky7:
ooooooohhhhh how far is Burlington from NYC & what resort do you go to???? I grew up ridding in the Rocky Mtns, so I'm looking for good -non Jersey- snow to hit the slopes again! I was living down South for a few yrs & haven't been able to go snowboarding in WAY too many yrs! I used to compete....boy do I miss it frown ...it used to be my existence

anyway, feeling better thanks. I was going to Viva, but couldn't find anyone who was solid in coming w/me! Sad but true. My ex is going with most of my friends 'cause he got a hook up on a suite at the Gold Coast....I'm not even considering staying w/the ex! So, I'm gonna have to pass this year, but I'm spending my Vegas $ on tattoo equipment, so it all evens out! I'll make it next year....SOOO much fun, I'll be jealous when I'm not there & know I could've

At least someone enjoys the snow. I can't stand it and just want it to leave me alone.

Yet another cold one here in Burlington, but had a great weekend on the mountain in the snow on my board. You just can't beat that!
