What a beautiful morning. It's like the day after the Ark landed and the rain subsided. After scanning this mornings listings in the Phoenix, it looks like a busy beginning to June, especially with the Boston Burlesque festival happening on the 10th at the Paradise. Mmm. Very good. As well, I've branched out on my freelance promotion and posted my stuff on Portfolios.com (www.portfolios.com/ToddGallentine) so...

Whew! What a weekend! Just in from NYC and giving myself time to regroup. Visited my friends' new bar in Williamsburg called Clems. Check it out. Very cool. Than on Saturday, attended and all day/night Tiki party on my hosts deck (and where I was staying) which absolutely rocked. Had a vibes combo playing lounge, exotica and surf (Martin Denny style) past sunset that set...

Sounds like you had a good weekend. I had some nice pics of the Pontani Sisters with Los Straightjackets in my profile before the site crashed. I'll have to put them back when I get a chance.

Well, back into the swing of things after a long and stressful weekend (wakes and funerals) but now it's a new week and it's going to rock. The Riffs are playing tomorrow night in Cambridge which should be a real treat, than the Matrix on Thursday than off to NYC on Friday for an all weekend tiki party! Where's my ovaltine and coffee?

So what is it with John Cusack and the rain? New film "Identity" all takes place in the rain. High Fidelity, "rain", Say Anything...etc... Ok, anybody, top five explanations please.
missprint:
Well he is the ultimate hopeless romantic. Rain = pathos, in that cheap Hollywood sense.

Among other things, Im setting type for a book that requires me to run two separate and completely unrelated texts simultaneously. Both texts are quite boring. Makes for much tedium. I would never let anyone else do my work for me, but Ive received several enthusiastic offerstempting.

A great Monday morning! Caught up wth the Disasters last night at Avalon opening for The Transplants. The Disasters rocked it full on! Every time I see these guys play they just keep getting better and better. a few Clash tributes thrown in which is always great! As for The Transplants, not as thrilling and good as Rancid, but the kids seem to dig 'em....
