Got back from a long one at the shore (in Maine) thus now begins the work week. Delays, client woes, etc... Caught the Legendary Shack Shakers last Thursday who really rocked TT's. And now looking forward to Satan's Teardrops this Thursday. Thursdays are turning out to be THE night.

What a Wednesday. Awoken by huge thunder claps and rain to see that my windows were leaking. Now that's good ol' Boston craftsmenship. It's nice to live in a building with character, but old windows and roofs suck! I checked out Pirates of the Carribean the other night and it was pretty good. Just what you need in the summer. Arrrrr!
reina_confundida:
You don't really want to go to the show at the Middle East tonight.... you really want to drive down to PVD for this show-

The weekend wedding absolutely rocked! We should all be so lucky to have a wedding reception with so much fun! Big Sandy, The Pontani Sisters, The Hudson Hotel, amazing weather on a rooftop with an amazing sunset! And 3 open bars with PBR! Now the happy couple are sunning themselves in beautiful Hawaii, while I'm working and going to be posting some photos in the...

You need to make good on your threats man! I don't feel taunted! If you need motivation: The only other person who has ever told me I'm "cruzin' for a bruisin'" was my mom and she was much more threatening...though the wooden spoon did help.

A great day! Just got a 3 week freelance gig here in the city. Should be quiet interesting, I haven't worked on a project (medical) like this before. OK grey matter, start your engines! biggrin
bliss:
Sound cool...is this whith your art??? What kind of medical ...... is it groos! is it dead!!!
missprint:
I'm hoping to make it to that show. I haven't seen The Shods in quite a while...though I do see their lead singer (Kevin?) all over the place...in a pink shirt no less!

Are you a Turbonegro fan? I almost lost bladder control when I saw that they are playing the Mid East on September 17th!

A crazy beautiful weekend now covered in clouds. A perfect day to do research and design for a book I'm putting together. Then the baby is off to Chronicle in San Francisco to get the thumbs up!
missprint:
Were you at Darkbuster? One of the best shows I've been to in a good while.

PS- I always thought $ shaped carpets and white leather sofas were in good taste. wink

Just got back from a long 4th weekend! Got a lot of sun and actually (nobody panic) played some golf. It's not that bad once you do it, and pretty cool when your out with friends. I'm an avid mini golfer, so it was just a nice transition. Punk rock golf. The only way to do it. smile
bliss:
Budweiser and mini-carts
missprint:
Heh heh heh. Punk rock glof my ass. You'll end up like my dad if you're not careful!

I don't have no stinkin' car. I take the bus with all the other weenies.

Went and saw "The Producers" last night. Probably THE funniest piece of theatre ever. Mel Brooks just keeps getting better (right up there with Blazing Saddles.) And a classic all time scene with little old ladies and walkers! Genius! smile biggrin
missprint:
Awww. So sweet. If I could get out of this computer lab for any significant amount of time I'd get the hell out of Providence and head for Boston.
