So I got called a scab tonight, and according to the dictionary a "scab" in the sense that my bright UAW friend was using is defined as:
1. A worker who refuses membership in a labor union.
2. An employee who works while others are on strike; a strikebreaker.
3. A person hired to replace a striking worker.
None of which pertain me (except maybe #1 although I was never offered a membership not that I would want one anyways) or his use of the word. Hmmm, you think I should inform him of his incorrect use of the word??
P.S. I gave in and and called the girl (actually I texted her but either way). Apparently she had been sick
, and then she told me she's not very good at returning phone calls and has been real busy at work cause one of her coworkers got fired and she's been taking care of her work load too. So either I'm guilible or actually have a real honest girl talking to me (Here's hoping for column B).
