IF ONLY MURDER WASNT ILLEGAL!
Yes, more dram in my life: Here I am, trying to get my lazy ass in shape by going to the gym Friday. I had a nice work out and I felt really good about myself. As I go up front to grab my keys, I encounter a woman frantically talking to one of the guys at the front desk. She tells him that her keys are missing. She runs outside, stays for a couple of minutes, and comes back in the gym with tears in her eyes. HER CAR WAS STOLEN! Of course, at this point, I begen looking for my keys and (su-freakin-prise) they are missing. I go outside to see if my car is missing but it is still there. I go back inside to look for my keys (which were up front with the keys of about 50 other gym members) and I still cant find them. When the police finally arrive, we all lean, from the chick at the front desk, that a group of guys (ages 14-17) came into the gym and asked if they could use the restroom. She told them that they couldn't because the gym was members only so they had to leave. After meandering around the front desk for about 10 minutes, this group of guys just walks in to the gym. At this point, why actions weren't taken to have these bastards ejected from the gym are beyond me. So...after about 15 minutes of hanging out in the gym, these little bastard made their way back to the front desk. At this point she said one of them purchased a drink but, this transaction took another 10 to 15 minutes.
Again, she took no action to have them removed from the gym. Well, during one of their extended stays at the front desk, they stole 3 sets of keys, mine being one of them. These little pieces of crap went into my car, stole my cell phone, the cash from my arm rest, and my ipod cable. To add insult to injury, they locked the doors after they took what they wanted and had the balls to answer my phone when I called it. I feel really sorry for the lady who's car was taken because they got her car, cell phone, purse (which contained her debit card, credit cards, and personal info) and they have they keys to home along with the address. In comparison, I got off a little easy, which is hard for me to say because of all I have to do in order to make sure my stolen keys can't be used. I had to have the computer in my car recoded so that the stolen key can't start my car. That is one good thing about these new "sensor keys". If they are ever stolen, a quick trip to the dealership will prevent them from being able to start the vehicle but, these damn keys and the programming are expensive. It's gonna cost close to $900 to have my locks changed so these little bastards can't use the keys for anything other than cleaning their ears and, I have to replace a cell phone that I just purchased in December 05. The thing that really sucks about the phone (other than having to spend $ on yet another one) is that I lost all of the numbers I had saved in it.
The tragic comedy that is my life, continues
