I do not have any feelings about it at all. When I was younger and healthier, my birthday was a week long celebration filled with friends, family and whoever was around at the time. Honestly I never thought I would live this long ... Oh well another thing that I had proved most people wrong. This year it will be my Dad and I ... Steak dinner...lots of wine for me and of course a cigar. I just hope the pain in my back and leg is not going to put a damper on things. Many people have wished me a Happy Veteran's Day and I thank you all (should have kept my ass in the Navy) but oh well. Being home disabled because of my many careless years as a NYC Paramedic has taken its toll on my body.Being home a lot, this site has kept me from many bad things. I have learned many things ... Dished out the wisdom of an old man and received some great pearls in return. I just wanted to say thank you.
