What a fucking cool weekend! i'll summerise:
Saturday:
Me, Kit and India got the 9am bus from leeds coach station. 4 hours and later and we're in a bustling London Victoria train station.
After sorting out weekend tube tickets, me and kit went off to the Barbican Center to take a look at the Communicate Exhibition. We wondered round for a few hours checking out the wonderful talents of many of the countried top graphic designers. I was especially impressed with the music section which included factory records legend Peter Saville. It was pretty cool and give me quite a few ideas, which is why i wanted to go really!
We left there and got on a tube to go meet india and bracket at bracket's sisters house. It was so nice to meet her after hearing all about her from india. Bracket is the nicest and coolest person ever.
We sat around in this tiny 1 bed room flat talking and watching Jordan trying to build a special needs unit. Then around 8ish we headed off to the meet in camden.
It was scary stuff. Firstly we walked in, theres me and 3 SG's so every1 looks round to see who's come in and im like "ummm hi" as i know zero ppl and im being introduced to all these ppl and im still like "ummmmm hi" feeling very uncomfortable and most of all hot (fucking stupid radiators).
After gulping down what can only be descibed as the most expensive round i ever got in, bracket informed me that she was gonna kick my ass at pool. Which she did...but only just. I call a rematch! The rest of the night was just general chat and more expensive drinks.
The pub shut and me, kit, india, bracket, lea and eddy got the tube and a bus to lea's very nice flat but Bracket had to get off back to her sisters place.
For the rest of the nite lea DJ'ed some nice drum & bass while the rest of us drank alcoholic milk cocktails and smoked some haze. nice.
Sunday:
5 hours later, we're back in leeds; Tired, hungry, thirsty and dieing for a piss having just had one of the best weekends in a while.
