Spent saturday at the Royal Geographic Society catching up with friends and watching adventuring movies.
Adventurists Film Festival
I can highly recommend 'Across Europe in a Paper Boat'. It's genius!
We also got to listen to a superb talk, then Q&A from a bloke by the name of Ed Stafford. In August last year, he finished a 28month trek along the length of the Amazon River. The first person known to have done it. Absolute lunatic.
Walking the Amazon
He brought along his walking buddy Cho. A Peruvian forestry worker who acted as his guide 4 months in and stuck with him right to the end.

Then we had a Thai meal and got drunk.
