We rented a jeep and drove south around the island, stopping to take in the local sights: lunch at a seaside cliff, Mayan Ruins at San Gervasio, roadside kiosks set up under the weight of sugar skulls, silver, and wind chimes, and miles and miles of white sand beaches, turquoise waters, and sea caves that produced blowholes.
I giggled incessantly as the water came rushing upwards through the reefs and rained down on me in a splay of rainbows. Not a soul was near as J and I played sea gods and goddesses, acting as though we had the power to churn the oceans.
I set up my camera and J framed the shot as we waited for the perfect moment. I hope you all love this as much as I do, especially because there will probably be several more of these! #Cozumel2014
