I know a lot if SG models want/ expect free sets but the truth is, if you want a good photographer and you want your set to go PINK then your going to have to be comfortable with paying money for those sets. Here are some things that photographers pay for in order to make your set happen.
1. Pay 10s of 1000s of dollars buying your camera, batteries, lighting/fill equipment, editing software, computer, phone for communicating with the model. Etc.
2. Pay for suicude girls online subscription to use the site
3. Find model who wants to do a shoot in your area
4. Email back and forth about where they want to go and their vision for the shoot
5. Set a date
6. Spend your own gas traveling to the shoot.
7. Pose models and direct them into making a great set
8. Fill out paperwork forfeiting all of your creative work to SG
9. Spend 1-2 weeks editing all of the images from the set
10. Purchase online gallery to upload set to
11. Upload set to gallery so models can easily download their entire set instantly (or spend more money sending a CDs in the mail (can cost over $30))
All of the costs that photographers have to make just to produce one set adds up and that is why we charge for sets.
Imagine you got a free set everything that the photographer did for you was taking time out of their job or time with their family.
Also, we are giving up our rights to ever use these images for anything. ANYTHING. That's a big deal to us. Something that we charge companies thousands if dollars for. Just a thought.
Some photographers even go to school and studied photography so college was a big cost in order to know how to produce a set for you.
