Sooo my NYE was highly disappointing. I worked a dbl on Christmas so I could have off, but in retrospect, I probably should have worked last night instead. I dunno. Whatever.
A lot is going on with me all at once, like always. I start the academy pretty much on the 5th, but officially on the 12th. Trust me, I am not excited at all. I am actually pretty nervous, but at the same time it has been hanging over my head for a year, so I just want it to be over with.
I don't really make resolutions, but like Mr. Adam Duritz says, "I'm hoping that this year will be better than the last" That pretty much sums it up. I need to get my shit in order, my life in order. I have slowly been working on it in 2008. Got a better career, a chance to get my finances in order. My photography has been moving steadily forward, the last 6 months it has been moving rapidly forward. Met a few new friends, lost some old ones that didn't really matter. A couple new people came into my life that really mean a lot to me. One of them is new on here, http://suicidegirls.com/members/Jewl/ You should all add her, she's pretty awesome. I still wonder often wtf I am doing with my life, but I am hoping that some day I will find the answer to that. In the meantime...
