I like road trips.
You can see strange things while on one.
You can also see really beautiful things.
You can also find out that there's a stonehenge replica (Life sized!) About 150 miles from your house and decide randomly to go see it one saturday. You can also take so many side trips to see things like giant eggs and bicycle race courses that you don't get there until nightfall is closing in.
This can end up being the most beautiful thing of all.

In non-image realted news:
I went to the SG burlesque show immediately after my first turn at rock stardom on Friday. The show went a-ok. It was in a beer garden down in Olympia. Sadly it was too early in the day for people to be drunk enough to dance, or tip the band that was playing for free. We each got three dollars. D'oh! I got over my jitters though, and I realized I could do it, so that was priceless. We then packed up shit and headed up to Seattle. I had a great time at the show! So many people I don't get to see nearly enough of. Drunken buffonery. Girls taking their clothes off right in front of me (the biggest plus of being a stagehand ) I'd like to thank all those that cheered about my ability to pick up clothes.
All in all, despite numerous attempts by fate and humans in general to afflict my happiness, life is fantasticalicious right now. I shall see you seattle kids at the karaoke tonight.

I also went to Avebury, which is a bigger circle, and probably older, but the stones are much smaller. You *can* touch those, and there are fewer people there. But there is a busy road that cuts through the circle (I'm not kidding) and in ye olde worlde days villagers used to take the stones to build houses and stuff.
(That's not me! Notice the road?)
Avebury
There is talk of a day ride on Saturday, Im gonna throw the henge in the hat. Pissed is talking to her riding buddies, who are gay women. I might not be welcome.
I found the henge on one of my maps, it would be a killer day I guess-timated 500+ mile road trip. Long hard trip. I might wait and make that an over night trip and camp somewhere nearby, which might be fun.
This gives me some inspiration. I dont get a lot of chances to shoot pictures of subject I like. I have all these idea, even couple for an SG set. But day and night photos of the henge maybe paint with light Im not sure Im going to the aqua team marathon. It depends on how quick I recover from the evil D.
