Happy Friday Seekers and Peekers!!

I've spent most of my day reading and watching movies.
I woke up at the crack of dawn with the most excrutiating back cramp. I came to find i fell asleep on my remote. I don't know what came over me! I watching Planet of the Apes, and IM'ing Tim and poof! I'm out! I think this is what they call a power nap? lol
It's cool and rainy outside, just the way I love my weather. Hoping to ease my back pain, I decided to journey in the back yard with Cole. It felt so wonderful outside. It was raining a bit but I didn't care. The smell and the coolness was so refreshing, I was out there for at least an hour.
I was reading earlier about a woman guessing the exact number of jelly beans sitting inside a jar for a contest. (For the seocnd time, I might add) All I could think back to was the Civil Rights Movement. Guessing the number of jelly beans in a jar was one out of many ridiculous and evil tests used by officials to prevent people of color from voting. (And no, i'm not about to go into theorizing a conspircay and calling Al Sharpton to protest the contest, so calm your asses down) Among other tests, was to guess how many bubbles were in a bottle of Coca-Cola. Even though this country has not yet fully healed from the former and present tensions of racism, it's a breath of fresh air to know that guessing the amount of jelly beans in a jar is only for fun these days. Not for unconstitutional restraints...
My feline friend never returned...tuna must have not been that good.
I'm in the middle of watching Dick Tracy. This movie used to scare the shit out of me when I was little, because I did not at all understand why everyone looked so weird. I love the music! Danny Elfman is one of my favorite composers.
It was actually quite humorous earlier when I slipped in the shower and Alfie was just sitting there on the toilet staring as usual. Damned soap.... It has taken me a while to be able to fully close the curtain. I've seen Psycho too many times and i keep imagining some deranged cross-dressing ninny with a knife coming in to shank my ass.
With love of none other,
T

You have such a way of writing & expression that it makes me sit and wonder how you have such powers.
#1 ..even if both assumptions are true, the 'positive racism' in it is evident.
#2 Obama is not African. He is American with Afrcian roots. This is only a detail and has not much impact aside from the fact that you have to be a born American to become President.
#3 That Lincoln freed the slaves is a myth! That the Civil War was fought about the slave issue is another myth.
The right to have slaves was only abolished for the States siding with the Confederacy, the so called Border States which fought on the Union side were still allowed to keep their slaves and Lincoln even once said that if he could safe the Union without freeing the slaves he would do so.
P.S.: do you know the part about the bible quoting for freedom?
