tomorrow, tomorrow, TOMORROW i will be back in the desert.
saw some wild deer this morning. my aunt lives in the middle of some woods and they come out early every morning to come munch on some grass. they didn't stay long, though, because my mom just *had* to open the front door to get pictures and it weirded them out. i'm sad though because yesterday her neighbor was asking my cousin about the deer she's seen here, particularly the elusive, HUGE buck that no one's seen in a while...
...yeah, turns out he wants to shoot it. i think that's absolutely disgusting. yes, it's very hypocritical, as i do consume animal products, but outright hunting for sport is just something i can't get down with.
it's gray out today, but it's really nice. my mom's going to take some pictures and send them to me, as i don't have a camera and i'll post some.
my great grandma's been making some appearances as well, which is a little double sided for me. i'm not scared of her, obviously. she's still my grandma and i still love her very very much, but i'm not sure why she's still here sometimes. maybe you can go back and forth? i don't want her getting herself stuck here with us when there's somewhere nicer she could be. but then again, she loved us all and is probably making sure we're ok...
...ok, off to go have some more coffee. maybe take a nap. i'll need the energy- my cousin's kids, though ADORABLE can really wear me out. i am SO not ready to have any of my own anytime soon
