Oh he should be able to eat rat pinkies pretty easy. Might have to wiggle em with some tongs a bit. Don't fret if he goes a few weeks between feelings. Some will eat once or twice a week, some take a little longer. And getting them to take frozen thawed can be a chore sometimes!
