As of this week I am no longer with the religious no fun-damentalists and I need to get some work going so da pita breads can continue to fly in the window and land on the dining room table.
I've been checking the job ads; mailed my CV out to a few. I have decided to focus on industries other than IT and it looks as if there will be opportunities in the tourism arena. I plan on looking for something based on my experience with Lufthansa, Singapore Air and the in-flight mags I wrote for back in SA.
We have been travelling to Jlem and around the country and it has been great to get out and explore at last. While I should be totally focused on finding work it's good to get out.
In Amerim [a moshav] we stayed in a mock log cabin in the mountains. The weather was foggy and raining. While we did get to walk about we spent most of our time in bed or in the jacuzzi. Tsfat was cool and we will go back there for Lag bOmer.
The Jerusalem trip was very cool. We met with a number of palestinians as well as religious authorities along the way [2 rabbi's, the head of the sisters of Sion church for women and the Shich, or Sheik as it is known, of the Ukrainian branch of the Sufi Church].
Last Friday night I was at an Indian [Hindu] dance theatre which illustrated the theosophy behind indian dance. It appears that many of the traditional dances relate to deities such as to Shiva, Govinda, Krishna etc and the underlying structure of the universe and creation itself. And sex. Of course.
In other news, Orly brought her paints, canvasses and easel here as she wants to create in my space and I am happy I can give her an opportunity to do so. We have also discussed the possibility of her working from home; which means she will have to buy a massage table and we will create a space from which she can heal.
all good
