Hi all. I must apologise having been away from SG for a while due to... EMPLOYMENT
Thanks for all the b-day wishes :-)
It's Autumn in Iz, a time of transition. The gradually chilly temperatures are creeping in and the time I spend at the beach has dwindled to, well, zero. The ever-earlier sunsets make me question why I am still at the office when it's so dark? Damn! It's only 5h30?
Last Saturday we went to a Buddhist meditation workshop. Which was OK. I gained some insight and met some cute girls. The workshop was held at Kibbutz Ga'ash and it was good to be out of the city.
On the way home we were rewarded with an incredible sunset! I must say the Goddess is quite the graphic designer. People were getting out of their cars and taking photos, it was so amazing.
No I didn't have my camera for once, but I do have the memory and it was good to savour the moment as we rode home.
What else? I have begun noticing my self. My body. How I walk. How I talk. How I breathe. How I look at things.
And there's a lot to work on. So now I am concentrating on walking and breathing correctly. It's strange to see the effect it has - all of a sudden I walk slower and pay attention more.
I'm also trying not to use my specs as much. I make a point of taking them off and suddenly I noticed that my eyes are trying to observe the world around the frame of the specs. Years ago I read that one can exercise one's eyes so that they become less dependent on specs - glasses are a crutch, yes. I remember I only started wearing them full time in my mid 20's - right after the time I stopped headbanging. Could there be a connection?
Work-wise I'm extremely busy. I work as MarComs Director of an Israeli Encryption software company and I am frequently averaging 10 - 12 hour days at the office. I have just negotiated a booking for us at a seminar in Florida, have set up additional bookings for our new online seminars, and am getting to the point where I can select a design team to redo our site. There's a lot more that makes up my day at the office but those are yesterday's highlights.
Right, gotta go work.
Love to ya all

Hey there, I'm writing everybody on the sight who's in Israel. You see I'm going to be at Kibbutz Yotvata, near Eilat for five months, and I don't know anybody. So, If you're in that area, let me know. I will be lonely.
