Goddamn, February is shaping up to be a crazy busy month!!! Ever since I signed up to Model Mayhem I've been inundated with messages asking me to shoot. So far I'm going to be flat out from the moment I set foot back home in Hamilton. I arrive back on the 6th, I'm having a consultation with my girl Anya on the 7th about my next set that she's hoping to shoot. We might shoot on the 8th, depending on how ready and confident she feels. It will be more like a practice set than anything else because she has zero experience shooting people. On the ninth I have a shoot planned, I'm not really sure what the photographer has in mind for this one, I'm waiting to hear back. I have a shoot planned on the fourteenth, university orientation on the fifteenth, also on the fifteenth I have two film auditions plus a casting call for modeling lingerie in Europe!! I have three other shoots to arrange for at some point in Feb/March and I'm currently going through the process of becoming a paid webcam model.
Fuuuuuuuuck
How will it all get done??!
I'm just dying under the weight of all the things that need to be done. However one of the shoots will be with a professional, experienced photographer with a wicked portfolio for SG. I'm way excited! As much as I love my first set which will hit MR on Feb 15th at 11pm, it'll be wicked to spice things up a bit and work with someone who will be able to properly photoshop my images before they go up. I'm hoping for an outdoor shoot this time!
My dear ole' Daddy isn't too happy about me modeling especially not sans clothing. I did my best to explain it to him on Facebook but he still hasn't replied so that'll be interesting when we see each other in person when I move back in with him... I think I may have to sit him down and discuss it with him. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make this easier? How to help him understand that I love this? If so I'd really appreciate it!
In other news, tonight I watched the masterfully crafted film, 'Lords of Dogtown.'
For some unknown reason I've been putting off watching it for years, but I finally watch it tonight and I fell in love with it. The story is amazing and so well-done. It also make me ITCH to get back on my skates! For those of you that don't know, I'm a roller derby girl. My derby name is Lady Jenocide for anyone interested
I can't wait to get back to Hamilton and get back into it, although by the looks of things I'm going to have to be careful not to wear myself out with school, modeling, roller derby and working... Although if all goes well work and modeling should come together.
Hopefully with the more shoots I do and the more experience I get I'll start to get paid for each shoot. Does anyone know how I can get my images out there aside from Suicide Girls? How do you sell your images to publications? Do you email them off to agents? How do you start getting paid to model?
My first order of business when I get some money is to buy new toe-stops for my skates, and then I'm getting my hips tattooed but of what shall remain a secret until the ink has been done
I just want to thank everyone on SG for being so amazing and supportive. If it wasn't for SG, none of these doors would have been opened.
Love always,
Noomi xoxo

Hope things go okay with your dad. My only advice would be to try and see the situation from his point of view. That way you might find it easier to explain it to him in a way that will make him accept it and feel more comfortable. Good luck with it :/
