Still IN Santa Cruz with my bestest friend and partner in crime, Ms. Xylah....on our way to the BOARDWALK for 1st time in 15 years. Went to Betty Burgers for lunch last night, and it was YUMMY!!!!!!!!!!! Wish I didint have to go back home 2morrow for a week of grueling band practices and such....sigh...back to the wheel....

Last night............

Took the wife and kids and my closest dude (and bandmate) "Sexy" with us to Xylah's house for her amazing and I do mean AMAZING Ratatouille, sausgaes, meatballs and yummiest effin' salad I've EVER had, couldn't get enough of it. Wow I'm very sorry to hear you had such a horrible night. And my deepest sympathies to Xylah I know how it is to loss a loved one. I just lost my mother to Leukemia in October. and yeah I realize that Xylah lost a dog, but I know that pets can be just as close as family!!! Me and my mother lost our beloved Cinnamon (a sweet little Cocker Spanial, that I recieved for my 10th B-Day) that was more of a baby to my mother and a sister to me (an only child) then a pet. She lived to the ripe old age of 14, when we sadly had to put her to sleep due to an illness. The Tattoo on my back that can be seen in my profile pic is a cinnabun with angel wings in her memory. My mom took it really hard, but luckily I talked her into getting a new doggie. She stopped at the local shelter and fell in love with a sweetheart pit/mix named Gus he was about 10 months they thought (he was 35 lbs. at the time, they said he shouldn't get much bigger, he is about 2 and a half now and over 80 lbs. lol). He really lifted her spirits. And when my mom got sick and had to spend long streches of time in the hospital, and I was at home all alone but for him, he was the only thing that kept me sane, and from falling utterly into depression. And he is now what makes me feel the most connected to her, because I know how much she loved him, therefore when I take care of him I feel as though I'm doing it for her...
As for what happened when you left Xylah's place all I can say is good for you!!! We need more helpful, considerate people like you in the world. I am sorry that the nights events brought back traumatic memories for you I know how that can be... I wish you all the best, and hope the next few days go much better for you!!!smile

Had THE BEST Valentine's Day (weekend) EVER spent with my new BFF, Ms. Xylah and her "roomies". They took me to Manresa Beach, a beach I have not been to since I was a teenager growing up in Monterey.........and I felt so at peace...I haven't felt THAT sense of calm or well being in a very very long time..........
