ok so today was "epitaph tuesday"...aka the one day a week I still devote my time to the label...it sucked though, because I haddd wayyyyyyy to much crap to do.
Due to the fact that California is a waste land of money grabbing luster, I get more and more poor the longer I stay out here...so needless to say I had to borrow money from mathew to get the car serviced. I was going to put it off...but I didn't think the pontiac would make it all the way into Hollywood so I got it out of the way...
The weirdest thing happened last night too...
MAtt was mentioning how it NEVER rains in California and how nice it might be to sleep to some rain ...seriously, 15 minutes later it starts storming like crazy...and I mean thunder, lightening, tires squealing outside...the works! it was glorious! that shit went on until about an hour ago, and our power went out. grrrr...
but it's all good cause I just had to wait at the garage until they were done with my car.
MAtt got out of work early, and I didn't hear my phone until he was at Johnny's Saloon in Huntington.Aparently his boss wasn't feeling well so he went to a bar at 2 in the afternoon..hahaha best. guy.ever. I went to go pick him up and there was some "producer" there who needed someone to play some bass lines for a track he was doing...I told matt to tell him I wasn't interested...EVERYONE's a producer out here, or so it seems...
Tomorrow better be busy at the shop...I need rent money, and I'm sick of being bored there....Moving back east is becoming more and more appealing....
