Ok so I finally finished Misery last night and it seems to ave taken me ages. I think its because i wasn't completely obsessed with it, I could put it down and leave it for a week without even thinking about it and in the end I was just reading it to finish it. I think my Stephen King mini-obsession is over for now, he is just so descriptive and I can't be dealing with it.
This morning I was thinking about this while I was in the shower and i imagined a conversation between him and the creator about trees. King would spend hours talking about the beauty and scariness of trees and in a bid to impress the creator he would describe them over and over again and eventually he'd stop and see what the creator thought and the creator would turn around and say "they're just fucking trees Stephen!"
