OMGOMG I saw a poster for the next Saw movie when I took Pete's niece to see Wild Child, I also took a pic of it on my phone which must have looked a little weird as I had just come out of a chick flick surrounded by girlies ages 8-17 and then I'm like oh oh jigsaw, gotta take a pic!! I did have to explain to Leanne (she's 10) that although the films were great and I loved them she wouldn't be able to come and see them with me and she'd have to wait at least 5 years before i'd even consider lending them to her! Bless, apparently she thinks I'm cool!
So Wild Child was great, I'm really glad I got to see it! We also watched Untraceable which was a meh film, good story, but a bit slow, still clever though.
My sister and I started to sort out the bookshop, but we only did like a 1/4 of it in 5 hours! Yup there are sooo many books, also my sister is a bit of a slow worker and people kept coming through and asking if we were having a sort out and did we work here and where were the autobipgraphies kept, etc etc, oh and when they found out that we volunteered - scratch that - I volunteered and then dragged my sister along with the promise of fun laughter and lunch, they were like ahh aren't you good girls. Um yeah sure!
So anyway our plan was to pull down all the books and put them all into alpabetical order and ignore the random genre system they had - they currently have sections for kids, ladies reading, horror, scfi, western, crime, war and odd and sods. We didn't like how they'd got it and in my own time I'd made little ABC signs for the book shelves and got really excited about it. That was until we got there and the chap on reception drew us a diagram to show us where everything had to be kept. We couldn't believe it, the air was blue for a while after that. They didn't mind us going in and sorting the books as long as they stayed the same, grrrr, our system was going to be way more functional and easier to keep tidy, but n/m. We going to have to do a few hours each w/end now until...the end of time maybe!
And finally, since I haven't been at the hotel I've been more relaxed and I feel that more spooky stuff has been happening, of course if could be that its not spooky related and its just a coincidence that its happening now I'm relaxed anyway its cool.
- At work the air con and the kettle switched themselves on!
- Josie moved our toothbrushes and then we couldn't find them anywhere. So as a last resort I asked outloud if we could have them back, Pete shook his head in disbelief that i thought there was something else at work, but I said I bet we have them back by tomorrow (we have spare toothbrushes don't worry) and lo and behold the next day there they are sitting on josie's beauty table.
- my trainers are being retied and the loops have been hooked onto chair legs - not one trainer, but both of them!
- last night I couldn't find my keys ANYWHERE! There are 3 main spots for keys in our house, on the key hook, on the cabinet near the front door and next to the phone. i normally keep them in my bag or near the front door, but last night I searched high and low for these friggin keys and I couldn't find them anywhere. I was on the brink of a panic attack (curled up on the floor sobbing my heart out) when oh my are they my keys on the kitchen counter that I've walked passed 6 or 7 times? yup! grrrr bloody cheeky spirit!
so what did everyone else get up to?
