Good news, my job is safe for now and nothing is going to change for the moment.

Bad news, I'm going to miss my boss frown She is such a cool lady and i can't believe after Tuesday I'm never going to see her again. I shouldn't get attached to people but who am i going to find who did these things:

Don't panic whatever you do. Make sure your CV looks amazing, don't be afraid to embellish it as long as you can back it up. Your CV is basically a starting point to get your interviewer talking, the more interesting it is the better the interview. Start looking at job websites now. I find Reed is really good but there are loads out there, As it's accounts you do maybe try Hays as well. Remember people want you, don't go into any interview feeling grateful for the chance - arrogance is the key.

I've lost and left loads of jobs. Getting new ones is one of the few things I'm quite good at. Remember it is not the end of the world though and keep yourself active if it takes longer then you think, it is very easy to get stuck in the house feeling despondent and sorry for yourself. This won't help you take opportunities when they arise.

If i ever meet the person who told me that spiders cannot climb pipes I'm going to punch them - be warned!

This morning there was a giant spider in the bath tub and instead of freaking out - like normal! I decided to get rid of it myself.

Attempt 1: put the shower on and hope it got sucked away
Outcome: it curled up,...

No, no. First time. I've been to 19 countries so far, but Japan has been at the top of my list forever.

Of course, 19 countries is a little below average for a European or Aussie, but far more than most Americans will ever see up close.
ragdoll:
eeek I really cannot deal with spiders.. the whole street knows about it whenever I see one.
Well done you!! I can't even stand to be in the same room once I've spotted one.

My Nana has a pay as you go phone, she just isn't overly technologically minded, she has promised to give it a chance now though, thankfully.
I've given her lots of hugs, she is slowly regaining her confidence, but I doubt that she'll ever really be comfortable out by herself again. The Police have had no joy, and we're not holding our breath.

People can really be horrid, it's a sad time when an elderly lady gets mugged in broad daylight, in the middle of a supermarket, and no one helps. I wonder how they would feel if it happened to them? Society is mostly take and no give, sadly.

ugh have you ever had a feeling of total realisation? Well I have today and it sucks. My boss asked me how much 2nd class post is on the franking machine and I had no idea - no big deal, well I would agree with you until the lady opposite me knew straight away and made me look like a tit. Oh well she has...

I had actual fun at college last night, except we were in the main school building and I hate the vibe it gives off.
But I knew stuff and I spoke out in class (a rareity) and I confused my tutor by giggling at a question we had to do in class for a Mr Bundy when my answer came out at 666. She was...

A few things that I've done recently:

*I had cheese on toast for tea last night - with brown sauce!

*Went to Macro and spent most of my time looking at the huge bottle of JD that was at least 2 foot tall and giggling down the sweet aisle.

*Watched 21

*I am reading Accidentally Dead by Dakota Cassidy - what a gorgeous name!

*I...

Today is full of meh-ness, I'm trying to explain my actions to people about why i do stuff and their eyes slowly glaze over and then they start nodding like a disfunctional desk top nodding fucking dog.

I don't know why I bother sometimes, people obviously don't give a shit.
kidego:
well your right.. sometimes people don't give a shit..

But I love how you think on the acting school... although I still think it might be easier to just find me a real british woman biggrin

OMGOMG I saw a poster for the next Saw movie when I took Pete's niece to see Wild Child, I also took a pic of it on my phone which must have looked a little weird as I had just come out of a chick flick surrounded by girlies ages 8-17 and then I'm like oh oh jigsaw, gotta take a pic!! I did have...

So the baby dragon is better, it turns out he was just cold, but we've fixed his tank now and he's running around and sunning himself now, yay!

So whats everyone doing at the w/end?

Sat: I'm dragging my sister to a 2nd hand bookshop next to my work and we're sorting it out - putting the booking into alphabetical order, cataloging them and cleaning...

The anchors do hurt, but some of the trad. piercings (like the nips) are worse, and they don't hurt when they heal unless they get infected.
The implant is oval and some have holes in them. It goes in in 2 steps, with a needle entering first. They really have to pull the skin to get it in there, though - ouch!
I want to get this jewelry for my sternum when it heals, but in green and blue. This is a blown-up image of it:

so glad to hear the dragon is feeling better...aww poorly pets make me sad frown

Our baby dragon is poorly sick, he seems to have an eye infection from the uv light, I can't believe it I feel like a total reptile mummy failure frown I've posted in the Reptilia group and I've had some fab responses and I'm going to call the pet shop today and ask them what to do as well.
