I have an orange-sized lump in my ovary.
spent the whole day driving from doctor to doctor...
it hurts incredibly.
i had my mom feel it yesterday cause it's been getting worse... and to put it mildly - she freaked out. She called her obgyn doc this morning and he fit me in.
now I'M freaking out; i'm really anxious to see the results of the plethera of tests and scans that i did over the course of today.
surgery is probably inevitable; i just hope it's not "serious" to the point of removal; both sides of my family have a high rate of "lady" cancers.
sigh.
keep ur fingers crossed please. the thought of an orange size lump alone is disheartening... but it's in a delicate area!

Best of luck in dealing with your medical situation. I'll be following your blog to see how it all turns out for you. I have a sister with Hodgkins (not really a "lady" cancer I know), so I have a pretty qualified understanding of what it must be like for you right now. My sister never had to undergo surgery, but the treatments were NO JOKE. Chemo and radiation therapy kept her in a constant state of nausea; and that didn't even include the impact of all the meds either. She did beat it years ago, but its back now and she's fighting it again. Hang tough girlie, and hold tight to those people who will get you through this.
