Why I hate the term "tatts"

I suppose that for me personally, I hate it when ppl use the word "tatts" because:

1) I am an artist, first and foremost, and "tatt" is just a poor way of talking about a (diff kind of) form of art. It's almost degrading (from an artist's perscective), like calling a girl "bitch"...

2) For true Renassaince Art historians/lovers, it's like... referring to Leonardo (Vinci) as "Da Vinci" (he is not "of Vinci" he is "Leonardo". Technically, he doesn't even have a last name, only a place of birth - Vinci, Italy)...

3) Tattoos are not just "tattoos". They are a form of Art (depending on where you get them done, lol). I'd rather someone refer to my "art work" as "work" or "art", or tattOOS. lol.

4) "Tatts" SOUNDS terrible; like "blog" hahaha... it's just ugly.

5) Most ppl who use the word "tatts" (USUALLY); don't have any of there own, or, if they do, it's of a butterfly on their lower back... ::cough cough::

6) "Tatts" is too close to "Tits"... and "Tits" is just another word I hate... OH OH! here is the PERFECT EXAMPLE: Ask a semi-liberal feminist with great boobs how she feels when ever someone has referred to her breasts as "Tits"...

that is (probably) how ppl (like me) with decent tattoos, (who are art lovers) feel about the term "Tatts"

I dunno tho, that's just my shit...

How does anyone else feel??? ::shrugs::
