It seems the wanderlust is never satiated.
After a friend let me know that our boss mentioned that the were running out of work for me, I am in a temp position, I decided to check what jobs were out there. So there it was, not the dream job but close. Seems MSU-Northern needs an engineering type to instruct sustainable energy technology courses, and well I happen to be an engineering type and I have an interest in sustainable energy. How convenient.
For the past couple of years I have envisioned a couple of different career paths for my self and teaching college was on the list, beat out by Alaska Bush pilot. Since I only have about 60 hours of student pilot time, the bush pilot job is out of reach. For now! I also keep an open mind to the surprise opportunity, just in case.
Plus they allow for up to 6 classes a semester within the MSU system for free, which is exciting because the bill finally came for the two grad classes at my current school and it added up to $2,000. So needless to say I have been working hard to update and perfect my resume and writing a letter about my goals and interest in the position.
If nothing else, I have a great day dream about moving back to Montana's big sky, deep powder, and taking another step in building the life I want.
Big Sky!
