So much happening, so little time to stop and write about it. Work has been getting incrementally more stressful and intense as the days pass, and it should all reach a shrill creshendo come next Thursday.
Speaking of Thursdays, I got my first tattoo last Day of the Thunder God, and it was an awesome experience. I asked Sadie to come with me in case I needed someone's hand to hold as I cried like a little nancy-lad. Surprisingly, I was pretty calm and relaxed through the whole process, which I found completely fucking riveting. Sadie still provided some much-needed moral support, and I was happy she was there.
Went to Joe's party last Saturday night, and wore this really fucking wicked awesome polyester disco dance shirt. The color scheme is this evil combination of light blue, blood red, some black, and some beiges in a spiky-stripey pattern. Every time you look at it it's like being poked in the eyes.
Anyway, Joe's parties always have the finest cross-section of geek-cool people that the city of San Francisco has to offer, and I always have a most righteous time. Saw Tyler there, who I haven't seen in a while, and was quickly reminded why I had a big retarded crush on her. During the evening she revealed to me that her middle name was Kevin, which I thought was hot beyond words.
Had inane party chat about reality shows with this smoking-hot girl in a white bridesmaid's gown who's name I never got. Jeff and Brendan showed up, and Brendan formally invited me to come along on this trip that he had won for a family of four to Orlando FL for the National Girl's Gymnastics Competition. I haven't the energy nor the panache to tell the story behind this trip, but trust that it's randomly bizarre and amusing.
So, off to LA this Saturday, back from LA next Saturday, then off to Orlando the following Friday. I'm a regular jet-setter.
UPDATE: mmm. peeps.
