This should have been posted a few days ago but I never got around to it:
Before I get into all of the pictures- I did get another job. It was my lucky day as the guy hiring me told me. Because he had everyone in the hiring process already, but one of the prospective employees did not study for his drug test. Gods damn the luck! So as far as I know I will be on a crew cleaning up after a shut down at a plastics plant. After that we will have some painting to do. He remembers me from the paint company I used to work for, naturally he wanted the talent as well as my skills. Apparently they are not worth too much as the pay really blows. But fuck it, its a 4 week job.
Pictures! Well the other night it rained. And when the rain stopped the wind did not. And it as you may notice it did not rain enough to keep the dirt from getting blown up.
Mary called and invited me to lunch around 1230 or 1 so I had a bit of time to kill and went outside to take some pictures of the dogs and wait for the mail man. We have a few pecan trees in our front and back yards. Well the dogs like pecans. The chew up the pecans and eat them. The Boston terrier likes the good pecans the Chihuahuas like the rotten ones.
Mary called shortly after and we went down the road (very literally) to Tropics, I have other pictures from tropics posted in an earlier blog. So this time I stopped to take pictures of the water and rocks and other garbage while Mary finished her cigarette. This is what I came up with:
Next was the car wash. There was a half hour wait I think it was as the line was wrapped around the lot at the automatic car wash. If it was not for good music I would have gotten off and washed it manually.
After the car wash I went and played pool and went through the usual monotonous routine I am stuck in. Thursday was when I got the new job. Went back Friday for testing and what not and Monday I go back for the drug test and background test. Friday Night I played pool with Mary's father Teddy for a while. The first game when I broke there were 3 balls behind the foot string and the cue ball near the center string and the rest of the balls were on the head end of the table, and NOTHING went in. I moved 12 of the 15 object balls from the foot of the table to the other side and not a single fucking ball fell. A couple hung up and came out but none went in. Teddy thought it was awesome and wanted me to take a picture. So here you have it:
That night ended at Skillet's as it tends to lately. It was the old Corpse here along with Chuck, Mary, Willet and Katheter. We sat in 4 booths. I had my camera handy and snuck my arm around Willet to get this shot.
Saturday the 22nd, Katheter and I went to the salon so she could get her eyebrows waxed. And we went to Wal-Mart to kill time before we went to Mary's to stop in and say hello. So I made her take a picture with me wearing children's cowboy hats, this is TEXAS!!!!!
So then it was off to Mary's place. She recently moved into the old Seagull Hotel which is in the middle of renovations. It's a really cool old building so I took too many pictures there.
I rode with Katheter to the salon and lunch and Wal-Mart and Mary's. So my car was at home, down the road again very literally. So she had to go home and took Chuck to work on the way there. She left me at Mary's and I ended up staying longer than I thought putting this puzzle together.
I walked home from Mary's so I could get dolled up and go shoot pool. Well when I got to where I could see my street I started taking pictures as I approached it. And I stopped taking pictures at the front door. So if you wanted to know what the walk was like...
A few hours later I was playing pool and drinking water as I do not drink alcohol.
I got very bored pretty quickly as there was no one to play with and the intensity of my head ache reached a point that would not allow me to concentrate or even focus my eyes for very long. I went home and took a few pictures of the moon. And moved the camera around while I did to try to get the same effect my eyes were having from lights- blurry streaks. It kind of worked but it does look pretty neat to me. If you care to see click away!
By now I am sure that you have had the thought, what a waste of picture taking, or something to that effect. I agree and have had the same thought, but it is digital photography and I am not paying for film. Yay for that.
Easter has been boring as can be expected. I do not care though; I am not big on religious holidays. So next time I will try to remember to post pictures of the mail I have gotten recently. Aside from that I have got nothing else for you.
i hope i dont look that way...
cause i do do it alot.
*gulp*
