we have been busy- seriously- all. day. long.
START TIME 0900hr.
we got up, got dressed and went to story time.
then we went to old navy.
then we went to the PX.
then we went to the commissary (me with two babies by myself on PAY DAY at the commissary! what was i thinking? nervous breakdown maybe? lol.)
then we came home, and put the food away. then i fed canon, changed his diaper and put him down for a nap twice because he kept getting up. *sigh*
then i changed clothes, repacked the diaper bag, talked to my mom, cat, and jinetter on the phone and emailed john back.
then ephraim woke up, i changed his diaper, woke canon up, changed HIS diaper and piled us into the car.
we went and met Jinette (and her two kids), and Cat (and two of her 3 kids), and Ang and her hubby (and their 3 kids), and Nats and her hubby (and their 4 kids!) at Tony Roma's for Ang's birthday. we got there at 6 and didn't leave until 9:30.
then i came home and moved ephraim's crib to the living room and put canon's crib mattress in it (he was sleeping in the pack and play, but he's just too big and i tried having him in my room but he's too damn noisy. lol.), then moved the box spring and mattress from the twin bed in the office/guest room into canon's room for him to sleep on.
then- changed ephraim's diaper, fed him, put pj's on him and put him to bed. then changed canon's diaper, put pj's on him, and put him to bed.
then i took out the trash.
END TIME 2300hr.
and did i always mention that of course we are in triple digits for the heat and my house will not cool off below 78 degrees! (what is with that? it's stifling in the house!)
of course my boys were true to form and total troopers the whole day. didn't give me a lick of trouble or whining or melt downs or tantrums. nothing. they can really stress me out sometimes, but seriously, i have the. best. kids. missing naps and irregular meal times and they are totally unphased always remaining their smiling, good-natured selves. *beams with pride*
i will catch up on journals eventually. hopefull tomorrow before i go to some class or another at the gym with cat and jinette and maybe nats? (it's either pilates, step, or body pump....but i don't know what they decided on.)
right now however, i'm going to crawl into my icky sheets that desperately need washing and sleep in them anyways cause i am that damn tired.
and i'm so sorry for whichever bored friends of mine make it through my terrible dull entry about a day in the life of the Wings. ha!

signalnoise:
we had the same business here - it cooled down to upper 80s and moderate humidity, and you would think it was october.

I guess that's true. We don't live near a base.
