I just gotta get this off my chest-isis...
So I am spending a majority of my time and energy and brain cells combing through the THOUSANDS of boards and groups on SG trying to figure out excatly what members/sg's are looking for in sets...Having said that I have offcially decided to let my set go up on January 2nd...I wanna see what happens...I want to know how ready the world of SG is for a chick with this body...
I DID NOT have a professional photographer....I read somewhere that the shower/tubby theme I had chosen had been done a thousand times so I chose to keep it simple....I tried very hard and worked a long time on my set....I am aware of some of the things that need to change with my next set...
Now here is my bone to pick....I have come across A LOT of threads of SG's and members complaining about the lack of quality seen in the sets in MR....about how UN-SG they really are and how it "cheapens" the site and its insulting to the girls who try very hard to get pink...
SG appealed to me because it was a chance for those girls who NEVER get to see women like them in public media become figures of beauty and have others admire and respect their true forms and bodies. I thought it was all about re-defining beauty! And all the negative attitude towards girls trying their best and having the guts to shoot anything in the first place is bumming me out!
I agree that some sets are sub-par and could use a lil work....but can we not just suggest ways of bettering the work next time? Not saying "If the set is shot by you..consider it rejected" *I actually read that*...
I am very thankful to be considered a hopeful.....I feel less like the chick who never got asked to dance....and more like the girl who danced by herself because she just loved to dance....
In conclusion I think that MR and the whole process should be left as is.....let the members make the call! Heck there is a reason your set was put in MR...lets all remember this. Wasn't every SG a Hopeful once??

Thanks for the post Luthie! That is info that every Hopeful needs to hear! My skin however is pretty tough. lol Im worried for others mainly!
