After yesterday's brief interruption in the scheduled service I am happy to confirm that normal programming will be resumed shortly.

I have to think of something interesting to do for my birthday this year as I havent bothered for the last six. Going to the pub is probably going to be obligatory for at least some of it but I feel I should make the effort to do something a bit more cultured as I do live in our fair capital.
Part of me wouldnt say no to a good shag, as I havent had one for so long it's too embaressing to be specific but a) I don't think sex counts as culture and b) I'm completely blind and deaf to any hint of interest from anyone and usually only find out I could have got some AFTER I've gone home alone.
In other news, I am seriously considering giving up the cancer sticks. Partly due to the fact that I have developed a rather unattractive cough. However I know from past experience that no chemical or psychological crutches work on me and my willpower is notoriously crap. I almost always fall at the first hurdle, which is normally the doorstep of the pub. But as I have no social life to speak of at the present anyway, now might be the perfect moment to kick the habit.
Any tips will be graciously accepted.
