I have been struggling with my health lately and I've realised that there is more to well-being than being well.
Learning to accept my illnesses and love my body regardless has been a truly beautiful thing and I think that's something worth celebrating!
And so I introduce to you one of the many changes I'm accepting of late... my very first hearing aid. Tiny but mighty.
I've named her Sally.
At first I was a little shy to tell anyone but then I realised there is nothing embarrassing or shameful about taking care of my health or needing assistance from this little machine.
I think that there's nothing more beautiful than someone who practices self love.
Wether that means loving yourself in your hardest moments, or just giving yourself space and time to just BE, even the dreaded accepting help. All levels of self love and care and valid.
So tell me what kind of self love are you practicing today?
