Here are a handful of things I do when I've accidentally let myself catch a cold and I'm begging the universe for my health back Haha.
Sun naps/ window naps
I can nap in the sun on a hot Australian summer day and come inside feeling 100× better. Something about the warmth and heat always clears up any blues. But for those of you who enjoy your skin gorgeous un-sunned then window are my next favourite thing for avoiding feeling under the weather!
Favourite foods
Weather your favourite food is pasta or veggies, eating it when you're feeling low is always the perfect pick me up. Fruit always makes me feel amazing. I eat it by the bowl-ful when I'm getting sick.
Change it up
I may not have been feeling sick this week but a change is as good as a holiday and I desperately need a holiday haha. Just a trim and a few highlights made me feel like a million dollars, and even something as simple as treating yourself to a haircut, a massage, or simply a night in to rest, can sometimes be the best thing to ward of those nasties from grabbing hold.
Self love
Whether it's a little hands on time, a quick selfie of the parts I love about myself or taling the time out to do my hair or give myself a manicure, can be some of the best me-time when I don't feel well. Sometimes you feel so gross and run down that its hard to feel good in your skin, so a quick snap of a boob-alicious (minus sick-face) will usually do to lift the spirits lol.
But usually I just find myself curled up with a blanket, a giant bottle of water, a good book and boy cuddles. That pretty much fixes anything! Haha
