So yesterday max and i went on a bit of a technological shopping spree... and it continued today.
Basically... i now have a brand spanking new computer, that max built for me
I picked out the keyboard, monitor and mouse. Yea, we went total newbie on this one.
Anyway, it's about 50 times faster then my old comp, has tons more space, a lightscribe dvd burner, and is just all around better. Plus the case is pretty cool looking. As max put it, it's a complete gamer computer. Everything is set up except for the keyboard but that isn't in yet, I ordered it from thinkgeek.com. i love that site and haven't really had a reason to buy from them lately... my geek points all expired. but now i have more again And it's a great keyboard... LED lights with laser inscibed keys... i can set the colour (between electric blue, purple and demon red) and then there's a dimmer on it.
Ohh and i started playing Guild Wars. So far i'm loving it, it's fun and there are no monthly fees. Right now i'm a mesmer (with a secondary job of elementalist) named Mystic Swither.
Aside from that nothing else is new really. We officially booked the comic book store for the wedding day, and we probably won't have to pay anything for it. The owner is gonna basically milk this for all it's worth and try to get some media play on it cause it's the first he's heard of anyone getting married in a comic book store.
Well that's all for now, i have to try to attempt to move some of my stuff from my old comp to this one. laterz and ~hugz~
